Let’s face it: Big messes will happen no matter how often you clean your home. That’s why we always like to have extra mop head replacements on hand!

Our reusable microfibre mop head replacements are designed to remove over 99% of bacteria using just water.* Just as our mops don't require harsh chemicals to clean your floors, there's no need to use harsh chemicals to clean the mop heads themselves! The microfibre in our mop heads provides a powerful clean for your floors. However, laundering them with bleach can degrade their microfibres, causing the fibres to wear down and reducing their cleaning effectiveness. Fabric softener has a similar detrimental effect on microfibre.

Skip the bleach and fabric softener, and simply machine or hand wash them in cold or warm water. It’s that easy to clean your reusable microfibre mop head replacements so they’re ready for your next mess!

Pro Tip: Only wash microfibre mop head replacements with other microfibre items. Washing microfibre with other fabrics can allow fabric lint to clog their fibres.

It might be tempting to toss your microfiber mop head replacements in the dryer after gently washing them. However, if you want your mop head replacements to last, we recommend you lay them flat or hang them to dry.

Why is that? Microfibre is made of thousands of tiny fibres. You risk melting the mop head fibres when you put your reusable microfibre mop refills into a dryer with high heat. This makes them less effective at cleaning up messes when you mop with them. Plus, microfibre mop head replacements may pick up lint left behind in your dryer.

The best way to dry your reusable microfibre mop head replacements is always to lay them flat or hang them to air dry.
